happy mother's day!

i'm so thankful for my mom... and we are very much alike in many ways.

we like...

clean, white sheets

peonies & hydrangeas

coffee

a well set table

cat stevens

the Heavenly Man and all his story entails

things that make us different...

my mom loves her home and small town and would prefer to stay there all the time if she could.

i like the city and i would prefer to visit all the countries in the world if i could.

my mom has a little more spunk than i do. i think that would be the right word for it.

i have a long way to go before i will be able to clean the way she does, cook like she does, garden like she does, and love on children the way she does.

"She opens her mouth in wisdom,

And the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.

She looks well to the ways of her household,
