i am so comforted by David. he is a man who is honest and who hurts and yet who so rejoices. he struggles and he has success. he is real. he is a great, great sinner. he committed a great crime. and yet, this is the man who loves God so greatly and God loves him and God knows that David loves him so. nothing, absolutely nothing, keeps us from the love of Christ.
