by posting this, i am admitting to anyone who happens to read this that i am such an american idol fan. i really do not know why. i think it has gotten better and better over the years. i like the contestants song choices more and the contestants become less "american idoly". for example... adam v. kris. i fell in love with kris after he sang "falling slowly" by glen hansard. he couldn't have picked a better song and he couldn't have sung it better. i was sold!! he won!! kris won!! i was shocked. i think everyone was shocked. adam had a more powerful voice... but kris was more my style. even kris was shocked! anyway, i am beyond thrilled. i hope that he is successful and is an authentic musician and not completely commercial. well, he was entertaining for the last season, if nothing else. listen to "falling slowly" and "ain't no sunshine". amazing!
