i love thanksgiving. it is one of those times of the year that i love to be with my family now, but i also look so forward to having a family of my own. i would even love to be single, but living on my own, preferably somewhere in the northeast and have my family come for thanksgiving. i just can't wait to prepare my own menu, prepare the table setting, and host thanksgiving. trust me, i know i am being idealistic! but, a girl can dream. i used to watch "miracle on 34th street" when i was little and i dreamed and dreamed of being in that movie. i dreamed of being in new york and having a nice dinner and watching the macy's thanksgiving day parade. the house at the end of the movie just tops everything off... well, here is inspiration and here is my idea of
the perfect thanksgiving.
Pumpkin Waffles for breakfast the day before or after Thanksgiving...
Baked Brie with Toasted Walnuts as an appetizer...
I made this before... delicious! Scrumptious Apple Pie!

centerpiece... remember... this is merely a dream :)

And I'm dreaming of when we can come to your home for Thanksgiving. I'll love everything you prepare and I'll love "not being the chief". You know me, and we've talked about it, and I'm serious - not sarcastic. I really really like all your pics. Maybe just start with Charlie and Elizabeth - wait until the nieces and nephews are older. I'll bring some wine if you'll tell me the right kind.
